New Light on the Boyne – 100,000 Followers Commemorative Print

On the morning of 31 July 2026, I flew my drone above the Boyne Valley at sunrise. A dense layer of mist had settled along the River Boyne, winding through the ancient landscape of Brú na Bóinne. As the sun rose above the valley, the mist began to glow, partly veiling the monuments and fields below. Even the great mound associated with the Dagda seemed to emerge only faintly from the morning haze. It was one of those rare moments when a familiar landscape seemed completely transformed. I have chosen this photograph to mark a very special milestone for Mythical Ireland – the Facebook page reaching 100,000 followers.
