The package price is lower than buying the pieces separately. About the Event The Armlifting USA Winter Clash for Cash is an online, remote grip contest that anyone can enter. It runs November 15 through December 31, 2026 (California time), with live leaderboards updated as lifts are submitted on Instagram and final results and payouts posted January 1, 2027. Entry is a $20 Armlifting USA membership (good for 365 days) plus a $20 entry fee. Unlimited attempts on each implement during the six weeks; your lifts don't have to be done on the same day. The three contest lifts: Fat Gripz Extreme deadlift (genuine orange Fat Gripz on a 27 mm or thicker bar), 3" pinch block lift, and vertical bar lift (Rogue Grandfather Clock, Grip Genie Hilt, Country Crush Vertical Lift Trainer, or equivalent). Which Loading Pin? Pick the 15" Olympic pin if your plates have a 2" hole (standard gym and bumper plates). Pick the 12" Standard pin if your plates have a 1" hole. The one item that must be exact is the Fat Gripz: only genuine orange Fat Gripz Extreme are allowed, no replicas. This set includes the genuine product. What else do I need for the contest? A deadlift bar of 27 mm or larger diameter for the Fat Gripz lift (the 25 mm women's bar is not allowed), plates, chalk, and an Armlifting USA membership and entry. Everything else is in the set. Do I need the swivel carabiner? Yes, for the vertical bar. Under load a single-point implement wants to rotate, and on a vertical bar that twist pulls the bar out of your hand. The swivel lets the pin spin freely while the bar stays put. It's included in both sets for that reason. What if a component is out of stock?
