SE SE8 SUPER CARDIOID CAPSULE

The sE8 Supercardioid Capsule adds a third polar pattern to any sE8 microphone body. The capsule unscrews and swaps in seconds, converting a cardioid or omni sE8 into a focused supercardioid mic without buying a second microphone — the modular approach that has defined the sE8 range since launch. Each capsule is hand-crafted and individually tuned at sE's own factory. An ultra-thin gold-sputtered diaphragm handles fine transient detail, while a precision electrode and refined backplate design keep the polar response consistent and the off-axis sound free of harshness. All sE8 electronics features — the low-cut filters, attenuation pads and transformerless Class-A output — continue to work exactly as they do with any other capsule. For engineers already invested in sE8 bodies, it is the cheapest route to tighter isolation on close-miked drums, percussion and solo instruments.
