Victoria Sponge Table Runner Cake

A dramatic and stately two-metre Victoria sponge table runner cake. Layers of vanilla sponge are sandwiched with strawberry jam and silky Swiss meringue buttercream, then finished with hand-piped buttercream, plump fresh berries and rosemary. Assembly & Delivery This extra-long cake is delivered and assembled on site by our in-house team. The cake board is constructed in our kitchen and covered with food-safe contact paper. Please allow at least 14 days' notice. Please make sure the venue is expecting our team and that there is clear access to the table where the cake will be assembled. Ingredients Vanilla Sponge: Wheat flour (gluten), eggs, milk, buttermilk (milk), sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract. Buttercream: Sugar, egg white, butter (milk), vanilla extract, salt. Strawberry Jam: Strawberries, sugar, cane sugar, concentrated lemon juice, gelling agent: fruit pectin. Decorations: Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and rosemary. Glaze Spray: E943a (butane), E943b (isobutane), E944 (propane), ethyl alcohol, E555/E172, aroma. Although not necessarily present in this particular product, the colours used across our range may include E102, E104, E110, E122 and E129, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in some children. All products are produced on premises handling eggs, gluten, nuts, peanuts, milk, sesame and soya and may contain traces. Cakes may contain cocktail sticks and dowelling for support. Each cake is handmade individually and carefully. While it will look similar to the images shown, it may not be identical.
