CARE GUIDE Before use Give the board a light rinse with water before you start. This helps minimize staining and keeps the surface fresh. After use Clean by hand with mild dish soap and water. Wipe away excess moisture with a towel, then leave the board to dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area. If the board starts to warp Hinoki is a natural wood and can respond to changes in moisture. If you notice the board beginning to curve, simply turn it over and continue using the opposite side. This allows the wood to gradually return to its natural shape. Keep it out of the dishwasher Avoid dishwashers, as high heat and prolonged exposure to water can damage the wood. A little care goes a long way. With regular use and proper care, your Hinoki Board will develop its own character over time.
