The PlexiDor Wall Series pet door with tunnel kit creates a pet entrance through an exterior wall when a household door is not the right installation location. It connects indoor and outdoor access through a finished tunnel, giving your dog or cat a route to a suitable yard, patio or deck. Aluminum tunnel for through-wall installations PlexiDor specifies the Wall Series for compatible stud, brick, block and cement exterior walls up to 12 inches thick. The included aluminum tunnel kit connects the interior and exterior frames. Its bottom section slopes outward and downward to help direct water away from the house. The tunnel has a cleanable surface and provides a finished passage through the wall. Pet door construction and finishes Rigid hinged panels provide an alternative to a flexible flap. The aluminum frame, spring-assisted closing action and panel weatherseals are designed for repeated everyday use while helping limit drafts around the opening. PlexiDor manufactures these pet doors in the USA. Select White or Bronze for a powder-coated finish, or Silver for an anodized finish where offered. Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large are listed here in all three colors. Large Plus is listed in White and Bronze. It does not include a steel cover. The larger units have the saloon-style double-panel design, a keyed lock and a steel cover for closing the pet entrance. Plan the opening before installation Measure your pet and confirm both the wall thickness and the proposed step-over height. Have your installer check framing and concealed services before cutting. Wall Series templates distinguish interior and exterior cutouts; do not substitute a Door Series template or use the pet opening as a cutting dimension. The product includes the pet door and wall tunnel kit. Installation labor and wall finishing are not included. PlexiDor specifies a 10-year residential warranty, subject to the manufacturer's terms.
