Fernandes P-Project PAW-3 Type II Akira Wada Model
This is a super rare guitar from Fernandes built in the late '80s through the early '90s - a P-Project PAW-3 Type II Akira Wada Model with a transparent green finish. This was a signature guitar for Akira Wada of Prism. P-Project was a subsidiary of Fernandes that specialized mainly in making custom guitars for professional musicians. It later became their 'Custom Shop' where a customer could alter specs of pre-existing models in their catalogue. The guitar has a wild configuration of three active EMG SA pickups with a passive Duncan JB in between the middle and bridge EMGs. There is a mini-toggle switch to go between the active and passive circuits. The tremolo system is the Fernandes "Head Crasher" bridge, and a great feature is that when the tremolo arm is pointed down - it locks the bridge and turns it into a hardtail. The guitar is in good to very good cosmetic shape with scratches and dings throughout, and heavy fretwear. There's a neck pocket crack on the bridge side of the neck. There is a brown leather gigbag included with the guitar along with the tremolo arm.Includes: Gigbag and Tremolo Arm Solidbody Electric Guitar 8 lbs, 9 oz. .810" Neck Thickness at 1st Fret .890" Neck Thickness at 12th Fret Bolt-On Maple Neck Ebony Fretboard 25.5" Scale Length 1.67" Nut Width EMG Active SA Pickups, Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker Double-Locking “Headcrasher” Tremolo Bridge Toggle Switch for Active/Passive Pickups Black Hardware
