Ox Hardy Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

A well pitched example of Adelaide Hills Chardonnay with fresh, bright fruits at its core with a strong dose of high quality oak. Pale in colour, there is good upfront impact of tangy citrus and melon fruits with subtle florals and a strong line of spicy oak. Classic Chardonnay generosity in the mouth with a creamy texture well matched to zesty acidity before a sustained and lengthy finish. Very easy to be tempted into a second glass. The Hardy’s are one of the founding families of the Australian wine industry and the Upper Tintara Vineyard is central to their story. Since Thomas Hardy purchased the land in late 1870s, it has passed from one generation of Hardy to the next, a constant traversing through time.
