Civil War Paper Money - 1862 State Of Louisiana $2 Bill ~ TL8295 $70

For your consideration one 1862 STATE OF LOUISIANA $2 bill. The front & back show great detail. No tears, No pinholes. Very good edges. The front vignette shows a maiden holding key seated by Confederate shield with ships in distance. A recycled bill printed on the back of 2 CINCO (5) PECOS bills. The back vignette shows 2 Spanish hunters, with rifle, sitting beneath a large shade tree with a dog & a killed deer. Also notice the faint O N E overprint. A red O N E overprint on a $2 bill is not listed in my reference book. Please excuse the glare from my camera flash. This bill has more of a mellow yellow tint to the paper.
