The extra depth and strength make it the right choice for longer or heavier items that the standard hook would hold, but not as comfortably: extension ladders (order 2), large garden tools, long-handled implements, and heavy sports equipment. Position the hooks at roughly one-quarter and three-quarters of the ladder's extended length — this distributes weight evenly and prevents the ladder from bowing or shifting. The 228mm depth gives enough reach for the ladder to hang flat against the wall with clear access to the rungs.
