A wiring kit that recreates the switching of the Fender Custom Shop La Cabronita “Especial” using a single push/pull volume pot in place of the costly S-1 switch — the same dual-voicing function for a fraction of the price. Works best with TV Filtertron-style pickups. Recreates the Custom Shop La Cabronita “Especial” S-1 switching with a standard push/pull pot — identical functionality without the price of an S-1 switch and knob. Each pickup has its own independent capacitor network, so every blade-switch position gives you two voicings. Push/pull down: the capacitors are out of circuit — each pickup runs bright with no tone. Push/pull up: both cap networks engage — each pickup gets its fixed tone. Voicing stays independent per pickup — neck and bridge each keep their own character rather than sharing one global tone control. Supplied as a complete kit: Alpha 500K push/pull volume pot, Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch, Switchcraft 1/4″ mono output jack and Gavitt vintage cloth-covered push-back wire.
