Care Tips Dry clean for the first wash, especially if the saree has zari, sequins, embroidery, or ombré dyeing. For plain chiffon without embellishments, hand wash gently in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Do not soak for more than 5–10 minutes. Never wring or twist the fabric. While drying, avoid direct sunlight, which can fade colours. Iron on a low heat or “synthetic” While wearing, be mindful of sharp jewellery, watches, and rough handbag hardware, as chiffon can snag easily.
