Fall Six-Pack 2026

The Autumnal Equinox is rapidly approaching, so Fall is officially right around the corner (even if it doesn't quite feel like it yet)! This may be our favorite time of year at Wardman, because rich red wines are becoming fashionable again, but light, pretty white wines still delight the palate, and rosé has its swansong. So of course, we're putting together another six-pack to celebrate this versatility. We taste through hundreds of wines and pick our favorites to highlight and share with you, and we've picked six that we think reflect the spirit of the season. To lead off, an exceptional Prosecco, with a subtle toastiness and surprising minerality, is a great all-occasion bubbly, while a racy and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc is perfect for the last lingering warm evenings, and a fresh and fruity Chenin Blanc from Sonoma is friendly with a cheeseboard and fresh Fall produce. A pretty rosé from South West France plays well with fish and shellfish and is a great companion the last cookouts of the year. For reds, an old-vine Garnacha from Spain is our pick for your next pizza/pasta wine, while a classic, crystalline Chianti stands up to richer dishes and cooler nights.
