Run by mother and daughter team Elisabetta and Lia, the estate focuses on indigenous varieties cultivated just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. Crafted with a delicate, modern touch, this 100% Cannonau provides a beautifully fresh, mineral-driven expression of Sardinia's island terroir. Vineyard & Production The grapes are cultivated on south and south-east facing hillside plots situated between 200 and 300 metres above sea level, where poor limestone and clay soils push root systems deep into the earth. Following a careful harvest, the fruit undergoes skin maceration with selected yeasts for eight to ten days under controlled temperatures. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, followed by six months of refinement on the lees in steel and a further three months of resting in the bottle before release to ensure seamless balance. Tasting Notes Displaying a brilliant ruby red colour with vivid violet reflections, this wine opens with an inviting and perfumed nose of ripe red berries, crushed cherries, wild Mediterranean herbs, and subtle warm spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, soft, and elegantly structured, offering a mouth-watering core of red fruit supported by polished, fine-grained tannins. A lively mineral freshness carries through to a long, clean, and pleasantly complex finish.
