A properly matched desktop DAC and headphone-amplifier system is recommended for achieving their intended dynamic range and performance. What is the difference between the two supplied earpad sets? The Duo Angled pads combine perforated lambskin leather and Alcantara to produce a richer, more impactful presentation. The Slim Alcantara pads use two types of Alcantara with inner-chamber perforations for a more neutral balance and a smoother upper-frequency presentation. Can ARTA be used with balanced and single-ended amplifiers? Yes. ARTA includes one two-meter cable terminated with a 6.3mm single-ended plug and a second two-meter cable terminated with a balanced four-pin XLR connector.
