This is a result of the printing process and cannot be fully avoided. This pertains mostly to the Eureka Jersey & Chickadee Unbrushed Rib Knits though it may appear on other fabric bases as well. The Pebble Stone Knit fabric is not recommended for darker prints. The Pebble Stone fabric base does not absorb color as well as other fabric bases and may have the appearance of ink that is not fully absorbed. Some fabric bases may be removed as base options for some prints. Products that are affected by this will be sent as is, without pre-approval. However, if you receive a fabric that is not in a sellable condition, please contact us for a resolution. Robin Jersey Knit Fabric: A jersey-type knit fabric made to imitate a cotton jersey knit fabric. Soft, with a medium drape and a subtle sheen. This fabric does not contain cotton fibers. Formerly known as Eureka Jersey Knit Fabric. Content: 96% polyester, 4% spandex | Approximate Weight: 200 GSM | Approximate Width: 60 inches Chickadee Unbrushed Rib Knit Fabric: A smooth, slightly shiny knit fabric, with mini rib lines running vertically across the fabric. Breathable, with good drape. Fabric has good horizontal stretch and a slight vertical stretch. Formerly known as Unbrushed Rib Knit Fabric. Content: 92% polyester, 8% spandex | Approximate Weight: 190 GSM | Approximate Width: 60 inches Sparrow Swiss Dot Knit Fabric: A soft jacquard knit fabric, with raised dots. This fabric has a horizontal stretch and has moderate structure. Formerly known as Swiss Dot Knit Fabric. Content: 96% polyester, 4% spandex | Approximate Weight: 230-240 GSM | Approximate Width: 60 inches Summer Breeze Knit Fabric: A soft, light-weight knit fabric with a plaid-like texture. This fabric is breathable and has quickly become a customer favourite. Content: 92% polyester, 8% spandex | Approximate Weight: 180-190 GSM | Approximate Width: 60 inches Pebble Stone Knit Fabric: A soft knit fabric, with a pebble-like texture. The underside of the fabric is smooth and cool for comfortable wearing. This is a more structured fabric. Content: 95% polyester, 5% spandex | Approximate Weight: 220-225 GSM | Approximate Width: 60 inches Mockingbird Cotton Jersey Knit Fabric: A high quality cotton jersey fabric with natural cotton fibers. Breathable, with good structure and drape. Content: 95% polyester, 5% spandex | Approximate Weight: 220-230 GSM | Approximate Width: 60 inches Starling Diamond Dot Woven Fabric: A light-weight woven fabric, with raised dots in a diamond formation. This fabric is smooth and has minimal structure. Breathable and light-weight. The fabric has been dyed a vintage brown and light colored designs or backgrounds will have a brown, vintage background with an aged look. Content: 50% Cotton, 35% Rayon, 15% Linen | Approximate Weight: 120-130 GSM | Approximate Width: 55 inches Wren Linen Blend Woven Fabric - plain white A linen blend woven fabric. Breathable and light-weight. This fabric does not show the vintage, brown linen effect and light prints or backgrounds should remain the same. Content: 50% Cotton, 35% Rayon, 15% Linen | Approximate Weight: 120-130 GSM | Approximate Width: 55 inches Please keep in mind that not all designs print well on all fabric bases. Designs are printed on white base fabrics, and darker designs printed on knit fabrics will have the white base showing through when they are stretched. Printing darker designs is challenging, and careful base selection is very important (some white showing through cannot be avoided at this time). We find darker colours print best on dull fabric bases. Different fabric bases absorb colours differently. Again, make your choice wisely. Generally, shinier fabric bases will show colours more vibrantly, while dull fabric bases will have less colour intensity and have a more muted look.
