Sportswear T-shirt – Navy

Over a decade ago we released the ‘Sportswear of Lancashire’ logo designed by our dear friend Rob at Teacake Design and it took us from being a brand where my mum kept saying, ‘I am sure they will have you back at T-Mobile’ to being a company that could sell t-shirts to people that I didn’t know. So for that I will always be grateful… What made this t-shirt super special was the tri-blend fabric that is was printed on. This fabric is almost exclusively an American invention that signifies late ’70s and early ’80s sporting apparel to me. It is soft, stretchy and seems to wash and wash. We know members of Team TRiCKETT that have had these since the day of release and they look just as good as the day they bought them. See, we do make things to last and here is the proof! Anyway, we get about three emails a month about us re-issuing these t-shirts so we have decided to do just that. We have updated the logo slightly for 2026 with the help of our pal, Peter O’Toole, and we have also put an even more retro #15 on the back which just so happens to be my lucky number. The logo on the front chest pays homage to those wonderful sports shops you used to see in the ’80s with those amazing hand-drawn illustrations on the signs. It may or may not give a knowing nod to Accrington’s finest runner. The fit is very much of the era and features a longer length and slightly trimmer body than our usual t-shirts, nothing major but it is worth noting. So if you do prefer a looser fit, you may want to go up a size. This particular top comes in bright navy with a white print to represent our company colours. This is the exact replica of the original, so it is about as close to a time machine as you can get. Each is printed by hand in Huddersfield by our mate Jim and his team to an exceptional standard. You can mix and match any 3 TRiCKETT/Pezzotto branded t-shirts and get them for £90, so that way you can sort your wardrobe out with some proper lovely t-shirts and look.
