Creation Illustrated Scripture Flip Book

Children’s Bibles teach biblical stories and basic theology through child-friendly language and engaging illustrations. While they have a place in a child’s faith development, they are not a substitute for Scripture. Children’s Bibles are paraphrased Bible stories written by people, but Scripture is the very Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16) and never returns void (Isaiah 55:11). We want every child to have access to God’s Word, especially children with unique learning needs. Our illustrated Scripture sets are designed to help children learn and understand the Bible through theologically grounded visual aids for small portions of Scripture. This set tells the story of creation through a direct reading of Genesis 1:1–2:3 from the English Standard Version® Bible (ESV®). This flip book uses illustrations from our Children’s Catechism Visuals. To aid learning, characters and key words/concepts have been matched with icons to show when they appear in the Bible passage. The flip book concludes with a Cross Connection that explains how we can see Jesus in this passage.
