Weldmold 210 TIG Rod for Crack-Sensitive Sections

Weld Mold 210 TIG Rod - 80S-D2 A unique alloy designed to join crack-sensitive sections of 4130 and 4140 steels. Also used for the repair and buildup of cracked sections of P-20 mold steel. Uses include buildup, fabrication and low-hardness overlays. Can be used for overlaying where a high RC hardness is not required. A pre-heat may be required depending upon the type of base alloy and its thickness. Applications: Weld Mold 210 can be used for the fabrication of thick sections of AISI 4130, 4140 and P-20 steels as well as combinations of these steels when matching mechanical properties are not required.
