Woodshop Basics (September 19th, 1:30 - 5:30PM) with Shawn Bell
Before getting down to business in a woodshop, you've got to know the basics. 'Woodshop Basics' covers the safe, and productive operation of major shop tools while making a simple hardwood cutting board. This course is a power tool intro for those looking to learn how to properly operate a table saw, planer, jointer and more. This is your first step to learning how to work safely and confidently in a woodshop and make the best use of standard tools you'll find in most shops. All participants will leave with the knowledge they've gained about woodshop basics as well as a simple hardwood cutting board they've made during the process of learning about the tools. Course Date Saturday, September 19th (9:00AM - 1:00PM) Instructor Shawn Bell 'Woodshop Basics' is a required course for future membership at the OCW. * Courses are transferable to another person, but non-refundable. Please ensure they work with your schedule.
