Our Grant Dark Navy W. Bill Cavalry Twill Trousers are made from a heavyweight 600 g pure wool cloth woven in the UK by W. Bill. Cavalry twill is a sturdy, hard-wearing fabric, recognised by its steep double-diagonal weave and closely paired wales. Originally associated with military uniforms and equestrian dress, it has since become a staple of smart country and weekend wardrobes. The dark navy shade works particularly well with grey, brown and olive. Pair the trousers with a grey cardigan and brown boots for a relaxed outfit, or with a brown tweed jacket and pale blue shirt for smarter occasions. These trousers come in our Grant fit, which has a high rise, double pleats and a full cut, with a slight taper from the knee down. They feature side-adjusters and are made in Italy. They arrive unfinished at approximately 96 cm in length, ready to be hemmed to your ideal length by your local tailor. Our best-selling style, it keeps the same high rise and two inward facing deep pleats, with a similarly generous fit, but with a more pronounced taper from the knee down. Most customers will take the same size as in the Aleks. Like all Kit Blake trousers, it is designed to be worn without a belt, with side adjusters for comfort. We recommend wearing it with a two inch turn up, though this is down to preference. All trousers are delivered unfinished, to be altered to your desired length.
