Vintage 18ct Gold 0.15ct Diamond Band Ring

A wonderfully wearable vintage 18ct yellow gold band ring, dating from around the 1970s–1980s and set with a single round brilliant-cut diamond of approximately 0.15 carats. The diamond is bezel-set into the broad, softly rounded gold band, giving it a look reminiscent of a traditional gypsy-set ring. Unlike the Victorian examples we often associate with this style, however, this is a distinctly vintage interpretation, cleaner, simpler and wonderfully easy to wear. The low-profile setting makes it particularly practical for everyday wear, with no raised claws to catch. It would make a fantastic wedding band for either a man or a woman, especially for someone who wants just a little diamond sparkle, while its simple shape also makes it perfect for stacking with other antique, vintage or contemporary rings.
