BenRiach 'North Star' 10 years old 53.5%
This expression from Benriach Distillery has spent a decade maturing in a single Oloroso Hogshead, before being bottled without chill filtration or dilution by North Star Spirits in 2025. The nose opens up with notes of freshly baked apple pie, flaky pastry, stewed apples and juicy brambles. The palate mimics the nose, with more notes of tart apple pie, joined with hints of marzipan, and warm oloroso tones rounds out the finish.
