Vineyard and winemaking The grapes come from vines around 40–50+ years old, planted on medium-steep southwest-facing slopes at 420–430 m altitude, on limestone bedrock with clay topsoil. Harvest is by hand, with whole-cluster pressing. Fermentation is natural, and the wine ages about 10 months in 228 L French oak, with roughly 20% new barrels, giving subtle texture without overt oak. Tasting note Appearance: Light straw-yellow with bright reflections. Nose: Fresh yellow fruit (apple, pear, stone fruit), citrus, delicate floral notes, and subtle hints of vanilla, honey, and hazelnut. Palate: Medium-bodied, with good volume and richness, balanced by lively acidity and a clear mineral backbone.
