Cadenhead's Enigma 'Highland Single Malt' 23 years old 51.8%

This enigma release from Cadenhead's hails from a secret Highland's distillery known for its waxy profile and fondness for the Scottish Wildcat. It was matured for 23 years in a single Bourbon Hogshead, and has a sweet, floral and fruity character. On the nose there are aromas of orange peel, mahogany, meringues and dough. The waxiness comes in the palate, alongside floral notes of elderflower and hints of gentle spice. nutmeg, toffee and roasted muesli round off the finish.
