2005–2014 Mustang J&M On-Car Adjustable Lower Control Arms — Poly/Rod

Fits: 2005–2014 Ford Mustang (S197), including V6, GT, Bullitt, Boss 302, and GT500. Does not fit: 1979–2004 or 2015+ Ford Mustang. Not compatible with IRS applications. Part # 23966 J&M Part #23966 is a complete pair of on-car adjustable rear lower control arms for the 2005–2014 S197 Mustang. The poly/rod design places a 95-durometer synthetic elastomer bushing at the chassis and a chromoly spherical rod end at the axle. Adjusting the left and right arm lengths allows you to square the rear axle and correct thrust angle without removing the arms. Pinion angle is adjusted with the upper control arm. Each arm is built from 1.250-inch OD x .120-inch wall DOM steel tubing using pulse-welded construction. CNC-machined threaded tube adapters are rosette-welded in place, and a chromoly adjuster allows on-car adjustment. The chassis bushings do not use grease fittings. Each pair includes a tube of waterproof synthetic grease formulated specifically for these bushings. Apply the included grease during initial bushing assembly. At the axle, the chromoly spherical rod end features a heat-treated 52100 steel ball, a 4340 chromoly race, and a PTFE-impregnated sintered-bronze liner. This construction combines the strength of sintered bronze with the low-friction properties of PTFE, providing greater strength and durability than a standard PTFE liner. The included 6061-T6511 aluminum offset step bushings have a 14 mm inside diameter and retain the factory mounting bolt.
