Natseway, Thomas – Mini Jar with Feather and Parrot Designs with Handles (1986)
Thomas Natseway is one of the most renowned miniaturists in Pueblo pottery. Rarely does he make a piece that is over 1″ tall or wide! This is one of those amazing pieces in both design and form that makes one realize why he is so well-recognized for miniatures. The jar has a round body and a flat top. On one side is a bird surrounded by a geometric design. The opposite side has a feather pattern. The top is painted with a fine-line star. There are two handles slipped with red clay. The jar is signed, “Thomas Natseway”.
