O Naturel Sparkling NV

This is pretty outstanding Kiwi fizz. It's zero dosage, precise, fine and bone dry. The flavours are in the realm of green apple and citrus, with a nice development of marmitey, savoury depth. Estate grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were hand picked, cofermented and aged in bottle for 15 months before hand disgorgement. Lucie and Brook Lawrence lovingly and organically farm 1.5 hectares in Lowburn, across the road from Burn Cottage in Central Otago. Having run Aurum Estate previously they’re well entrenched in the region. The small size of the vineyard allows them a truly hands on approach.
