This 1958 ES-175 is a clean example of a late '50s Gibson instrument, coming from the second year of PAF-equipped guitars. Laminate maple construction helps controls feedback, and is adorned in a beautifully vintage sunburst nitro finish that's naturally aged wonderfully. The original PAF humbucker delivers that iconic voice: mid-forward, not too bright, and with plenty of warmth and body. A superbly smooth tone that makes this archtop a jazz powerhouse. This ES-175 is in 100% original condition with the exception of a replaced era-appropriate tailpiece, overall being in Very Good condition with just a few dents along the body and a chip to the headstock corner, all showcasing its lively tenure since the '50s.
