Allium giganteum

Allium giganteum looks just like its name sounds—massive 6–8" spherical umbels are made up of hundreds of small, violet-purple florets. The flower heads rest atop thick, sturdy 36–60" tall stems, ideal for adding vertical interest to a back border or creating a colorful focal point. Butterflies and bees love them, but pesky deer and rabbits stay away. Drought tolerant, too! Cannot be shipped to ID, WA.
