Vriesea 'Vogue'

Vriesea 'Vogue' lives up to its name! The stunning bracts look almost like a flame with the red and yellow gradient coming from the center of the plant. Though in a different genus, Vriesea and bromeliads are closely related and require the same care. For detailed care information, click here. When in bloom, a pink inflorescence will sprout from the center and pups, or smaller plants, will develop from the roots of the mother plant. Members of the bromeliad family, Bromeliaceae, are pet safe- so no worries for our furry friends! Bromeliads and their relatives are great additions to tropical enclosures, especially for dart frogs. They can either be mounted on the background or wood accents in the enclosures, or planted into the soil. Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 5 inch pot.
