Regarded by DJ Amir as one of the rarest examples in his archive, the poster was acquired in the early 1990s from a Black-owned VHS rental store in Boston. Its history traces back to an independent Los Angeles movie theatre, where the original owner collected posters directly from display following their theatrical exhibition. An authentic original theatrical poster rather than a later reproduction, it has remained safely stored within Amir’s collection for almost four decades, retaining excellent display appeal.
