Vintage 1940s Blue Cotton Faille Floral House Dress with Shawl Collar Size L

Vintage 1940s 100% Cotton Faille House Dress. Cotton faille is a beautiful medium weight with a tiny rib texture and slight sheen. Soft and crisp to the touch. Floral print in a blue background with yellow, pink, and light blue flowers. Shawl collar vneck wrap with eye and hook closure (you may want to convert into a snap or wear a belt). 3/4 length straight kimono style sleeves. One pocket at RHS hip. Falls above ankles with a shift type silhouette. In good vintage condition. Has some wear at edges. Fabric has a beautiful washed patina to it. A definite vintage vibe.
