Transmission synchronizer assembly 8CM-7124, for Ford Early V8 1940 to 1954 and Ford Pick 1940 to 1947. 3 speed 8 cylinder 90HP, 100HP Note: The 8M-7124 assembly replaced the 51A-7124 part number. The two are interchangeable. This assembly can also be used back to 1939 types, but the 81A-7069 mainshaft spacing washer (39-42) would be eliminated from the transmission when using the 51A/8M type synchronizer assembly on the earlier transmissions. This synchro assembly can also be used on some later Ford/Mercury light duty transmissions up through 1962. Check with us to confirm any later applications.
