Bilboquet Table Lamp

Designed by Philippe Malouin, the Bilboquet Table Lamp is a compact yet playful table lamp that combines functionality with intuitive movement. Inspired by the simplicity of a magnetic ball joint, the lamp features an adjustable head that can be effortlessly rotated and directed, allowing light to be positioned precisely where it is needed. Constructed from pigmented polycarbonate derived from a by-product of paper production, the Bilboquet Table Lamp combines durability with a lightweight feel. An integrated LED light source delivers focused, low-glare illumination, while the magnetic sphere enables the head to be adjusted across a wide range of positions. It can be directed downward for task lighting or angled towards a wall or ceiling to create a softer, indirect glow. The fully adjustable cable can be left loose or neatly stored within a dedicated slot beneath the base, helping to maintain a clean and organised surface. An integrated switch on the cable ensures convenient operation.
