Pair of Ormolu Mounted Kangxi-style Export Vases

This Pair of Ormolu-mounted Vases in the style of Kangxi famille porcelain features exquisite hand-painted decoration across four panels—two rendered with antique motifs in varying compositions, and two adorned with floral and butterfly designs characteristic of famille verte aesthetics. The matching lids showcase complementary florals with pomegranates, crowned by a finial depicting a pineapple and cherry blossom atop a chrysanthemum base. The vases are simply beautiful. The brass mounts display authentic signs of age and wear, including areas of tarnish, scrapes, and scratches that speak to their history. The porcelain has been cleaned and lightly polished to enhance its beauty, though additional care would further restore their full potential. No hairlines or cracks are present; minor interior lid scratches do not extend to the exterior and are not visible from outside.
