ADV Tactical Ratel Acid Rain Fluted G-10 – S35VN

Vivid Acid Rain titanium and black fluted G-10 give this Ratel a wild, high-contrast presentation built around ADV’s compact, broad-bladed platform. At 3.63 inches, the S35VN drop point blade has a wide profile with a full flat grind that keeps the geometry clean and purposeful. A large fuller adds visual depth, while pronounced jimping along the spine provides additional traction when needed. Deployment comes from the flipper tab, with the blade riding on bearings for a quick, smooth action. The titanium frame is where this particular Ratel really separates itself. ADV’s Acid Rain finish covers the exposed titanium in a vivid mix of gold, bronze, blue, purple, and copper tones, with a heavily textured pattern that changes considerably depending on the light. Black fluted G-10 inlays cut directly through all that color, giving the handle both contrast and added grip without competing with the finish surrounding them. At 4.625 inches closed and 0.58 inches thick, the Ratel remains relatively compact while still feeling dense and planted in hand. Deep finger contours along the underside of the handle combine with the fluted G-10 and generous blade-spine jimping to provide plenty of purchase. At 6.01 ounces, there’s enough weight behind it to retain the solid feel associated with ADV’s larger folders without pushing the Ratel into oversized territory. A titanium frame lock with a replaceable lockbar insert secures the blade, while the titanium pocket clip can be positioned for tip-up or tip-down right-hand carry, as well as tip-up left-hand carry. Titanium hardware and a titanium backspacer complete the build, with colorful hardware accents complementing the shifting tones of the Acid Rain titanium.
