It opens with subtle wisps of highland peat smoke, transitioning into herbal bergamot, almond paste (amaretto), polished oak, and a faint hint of old library books. Palate: Medium-bodied and multi-layered. It leads with a malty, honeyed sweetness balanced by mineral notes, white pepper spice, rich marzipan, and a gentle, slightly bitter oak structure.
