A beautiful vintage Japanese hanging scroll featuring a hand-painted figure with traditional calligraphy and red artist’s seal. Mounted in soft blue-grey patterned silk with decorative woven borders, the muted palette of faded red, plum and black gives it a wonderfully understated look. The scroll retains its original hanging cord and has lovely signs of age throughout. A striking decorative piece, perfect hung alone or as part of a collection.
