Mosaic Knitting

This is an Advanced Beginner class- You know basic knitting/crochet and this is a new skill or technique to advance your knowledge If you want to learn to do Mosaic knitting with a simple two color project, this class is for you. This cowl is just right for cooler fall and winter weather, to wear with a coat or over a sweater or top. You’ll need two highly contrasting colors to make this pattern pop. Finished Project: Worsted weight cowl, The pattern is called Pixel, and it’s free on berroco.com Skills Needed: Cast on, knit and purl, bind off. Skills you will gain: The mosaic technique, mattress stitch to join Supplies: 2 skeins worsted weight yarn such as Berroco Vintage or Ultra Wool. Needles size US8 or 5 mm, circular in 16 or 24” length 2 stitch markers. Pattern from berroco.com *At least 1 skein of class yarn must be purchased from Fox River Fibers.
