Cat Alley Patch
Cat Alley is downtown Manchester’s biggest surprise, tucked away in what would otherwise be a humdrum alleyway. The alley formerly known as “Dean’s Court” has over the past fifteen years become one of the most unique attractions in the Manchester. Its name was unofficially designated because the area was known to be a popular destination for Manchester cats. Today, Cat Alley features more than 20 murals painted on the bricks between The Bookery (844 Elm St.) and 836 Elm St.. Each mural features an anthropomorphized feline at work or at play, and pays thoughtful homage to the Queen City.
