Cornell & Diehl Bijou pairs matured 2003-crop Red Virginia with fragrant Katerini Orientals from Greece and a subtle touch of honey. The tobaccos are layered, pressed, and sliced into flakes, bringing together the natural sweetness of aged Virginia with the distinctive character of the Orientals. Created with long-term cellaring in mind, C&D suggests the blend will continue developing over ten to fifteen years. Appropriately named Bijou—French for “jewel”—it’s a blend worth enjoying now and setting a few tins aside for later.
