Edwardian 18k/Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Ring

A gorgeous mixed metal ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a central, bezel-set, round cut sapphire. The gorgeous sapphire, which displays a deep luscious blue hue, has an approximate total carat weight of .30ctw. The sapphire rests atop a platinum plaque, which draws the eye to the lovely gemstone. The shoulders of the ring are encrusted with small, bead-set, rose cut diamonds. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A lovely piece, this ring would make a dainty addition to any antique jewelry collection! Measurements: The ring is currently a size 7.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1mm. Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
