Scripted Fragrance hosts hands-on soy candle-making classes in Warwick, NY, inside a restored 1842 Manor House just over an hour from NYC. Class formats vary by season, details for the current season are below. If you book directly with us instead of via Eventbrite, you will receive a separate ticket confirmation from us via Eventbrite within 48 hours of booking. This 1.5-hour class includes expert instruction and two hand-poured candles: a 7oz jar candle in a fragrance you choose, and an 8oz Reusable Rocks Glass Candle in a seasonal blend you create yourself. Location: 255 State School Road, Warwick, NY 10990 What You'll Make First, you'll pick a fragrance from our existing collection and hand-pour your own 7oz jar candle, choosing a label design you love along the way. Then it's time to get creative: you'll blend your own custom seasonal fragrance and pour it into our 8oz Reusable Rocks Glass Candle, a candle that becomes a real drinking glass once it's burned down. If you're unable to sit on a high stool, let us know in advance and we'll provide alternative seating. Each participant must be 8+ years of age and needs their own ticket; we're not able to accommodate guests who aren't participating. Limited Liability Waiver Candle making may involve inherent risks, dangers and hazards which may result in injury or illness. Upon arrival, you will be required to sign our liability waiver. If you would like a copy of the waiver before registering for this class, please email us at info@scriptedfragrance.com Pickup & Shipping Candles need to cure for at least 24 hours, so they're not available to take home the same day. Pickup is available Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and Saturday, 12pm to 4pm; we'll hold candles for two weeks after your workshop date. Shipping is available for a flat rate of $12 in the lower 48 states, with an additional $2 per set for multiple sets to one address. Have more questions? Please note, tickets are non-refundable. In the event you can't attend your class, your tickets become a gift card for use online or in-store. Like all our classes, you'll pour two candles, but this time your first candle comes in our limited-edition pumpkin vessel, available only for this class. We'll have hot cider warming all evening and a seasonal grazing cup waiting at your seat, all set against our fall harvest decor for a cozy evening at the Manor.
