Named in honour of the winemaker's mother, La Cuisine de Ma Mère from Domaine Grosbois is a beautifully pure expression of Cabernet Franc from the heart of Chinon. Bright aromas of redcurrant, black cherry and raspberry are complemented by notes of violets, fresh herbs and a subtle graphite minerality, leading into a silky, medium bodied palate with fine tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, savoury finish. Fresh, elegant and wonderfully food-friendly, it pairs beautifully with roast chicken, pork, duck, grilled vegetables or mushroom dishes.
