MY STORY The Mid Century Collection is designed and reworked in collaboration with No Alterations. The Gemini Gown is an original 1940s piece, modernized by removing the sleeves and adjusting the neckline to create a stunning, portrait silhouette. It features a bow detail at the neckline, a natural waistline defined by satin piping, center back satin covered button closures, and a cathedral length train that extends out into a puddle of liquid satin behind the wearer. At the waistline, sits three tiers of satin ruffles, described by a member of our team as 'fish scales' - a romantic touch so period correct to the 40s. This gown is worn with a crinoline petticoat to give the skirt more volume but it could also be worn without.
