The surface must be completely dry and free of water, dust, oil, wax, and residue. If necessary, carefully warm the tank surface to approximately 25–30°C (77–86°F) using a hair dryer or heat gun on a low setting. Do not overheat the painted surface. Clean and dry your hands before handling the component or adhesive. Dry-fit the component and confirm its position before removing the adhesive liner. Gradually peel away the liner while pressing the component into position. Apply firm, even pressure across the complete mounting surface to ensure full contact. Allow the adhesive to set for at least 12 hours. Avoid riding the motorcycle or exposing the installation area to water or moisture during this period.
