Not a Bigger Tank Pad. A Different Kind of Support. The HARMONIZE EXT-SRR is a one-piece 3D rider support and tank grip interface for the 2021–2025 BMW S1000R. Conventional tank grips add friction to an existing flat surface. The EXT-SRR goes further, adding a raised, contoured support point exactly where the rider's thigh meets the tank. Its three-dimensional TPU structure gives the lower body a defined surface to brace against, while a high-grip surface texture helps maintain consistent contact through that surface. The result isn't just more grip — it's a more functional connection between rider and motorcycle. Built Around the Rider Contact Point The S1000R's upright, naked riding position shifts more of your body weight through your knees and core than a faired bike does — at a stop, in traffic, and especially under the hard acceleration this platform is known for. A flat tank pad can help reduce sliding, but it doesn't change the shape of the contact area itself. The EXT-SRR introduces a physical contour at that point. The surface must be completely dry and free of water, dust, oil, wax, and residue. If necessary, carefully warm the tank surface to approximately 25–30°C (77–86°F) using a hair dryer or heat gun on a low setting. Do not overheat the painted surface. Clean and dry your hands before handling the component or adhesive. Dry-fit the component and confirm its position before removing the adhesive liner. Gradually peel away the liner while pressing the component into position. Apply firm, even pressure across the complete mounting surface to ensure full contact. Allow the adhesive to set for at least 12 hours. Avoid riding the motorcycle or exposing the installation area to water or moisture during this period.
