This good-looking, sturdy backpack is ready for your Highland adventure. Designed and handcrafted in Fernweh UK's Aberdeen studio, the outer is made from rugged Scottish waxed cotton, featuring a double slip pocket on the front for easy access. The bottom – which sports the Fife Arms house tweed – is reinforced, with leather lash tabs for attaching a picnic rug or sleeping bag. The back is quilted, and the adjustable oak-bark tanned leather straps are wider at the shoulders for extra comfort. All finished with a secure roll-top fastening, to protect your belongings from the elements. The inside of the bag reveals a magnetic snap close to keep the rolltop secure, along with an array of pockets. The lining is made from a crisp Scottish dry-finished waxed cotton, for an extra layer of weatherproofing. On the back is a zip pocket for keeping documents, passport or phone safe and secure, and within reach is a D-ring for keys, a laptop sleeve and another double slip pocket. Created from waxed canvas made in Dundee, Scotland, and oak-bark tanned leather from the UK's only remaining oak-bark tannery.
