This reproduction of ancient Egyptian arrowheads is based on a burial discovered at Tell el-Maskhuta in northeastern Egypt, dated to the New Kingdom period, roughly 1550 to 1070 BCE. These arrowheads were found alongside other artifacts, including a golden ring bearing the name of Ramesses III and a small ivory box. All of these finds, including the arrowhead that inspired this reproduction, indicate that the tomb belonged to someone of high military importance. These arrowheads feature a long, leaf-shaped blade, reflecting the original design. The reproductions are made from steel and incorporate a tang system, which adds structural integrity, ensuring the head is firmly attached and improving the arrow’s balance.
